Smoothies and smoothie bowls are still and probably will forever be one of my favourite ways to get a massive superfood punch, all nestled into a colourful bowl of yum. When it comes to creating smoothies, the sky really is the limit when it comes to ingredients from veggies, fruits, herbs, spices, fresh and frozen; you can literally combine it all.
This is a smoothie that I like to enjoy in most seasons, but especially love it late-summer when peaches are in season locally. With the double dose of yellow fruits plus turmeric in this bright and sunny bowl, your body gets a super charged dose of antioxidants, vitamin C and anti-inflammatory compounds. I chose to use avocados, strawberries and dried rose petals from my backyard as garnish, which boosts the fat and fiber content while giving a beautiful aromatic flavor.
Give this super easy recipe a try and let me know how it goes ☺
