There is just so much to be grateful for in my life, so I figured why not share it with you all! As I mentioned in my Magnitude of Gratitude post, practicing gratitude on a daily basis has had a profound affect on how I live my life. Focusing on all of the abundance in my life rather than what I don’t have, has felt like switching on a light in my mind and body. Yes, my thoughts have a physiological affect on my body and your thoughts have a physiological affect on you too but that is for another post ☺ With all of that said, for my first of many gratitude posts, I would like to send much love and gratitude out to my friends Erika and Ryan at Rowell Photography.
I met this duo when my hubby and I were searching for a photographer to capture our love filled day – our wedding day. When we met Erika and Ryan, it was instant chemistry! It was super important for the hubs and I to find photographers who would capture every little moment, posed and not posed. Photographers, who would be able to illustrate all of the love that was felt that day between husband and wife, friends, family and even the love for our vendors (shout out to Holly, Nicole and Chef!).
To say that they did exactly that and then some is an understatement. When I look back at the photos they captured that day, it still makes me misty eyed – you can check out some of those photos here
That was 2 ½ years ago and today I am still more than grateful for these two souls. They are not just photographers to me, they are friends ☺ When I made the choice to do a photo shoot to celebrate some major achievements early 2015, Erika and Ryan were my first call. When I was working on the re-launch of this blog, there was no question who I wanted to capture some lifestyle photos for me. For this, we trekked up to one of my favourite places on earth this past summer, Banff Alberta, where they worked their artistic magic again and captured stunning images of the spectacular sights that the Rocky Mountains bring. I can go on and on about these two but we don’t have all day – lol.
To Erika and Ryan, I am so incredibly grateful for you, your incredible gift, your creativity and your pizzazz! Your are my da Vinci behind the lens 😉
So for you my readers, I want to share some of my favourite shots that they captured during our day trip in Banff ☺ Some of these may look a little familiar, as a few have already made an appearance on this blog and my social media pages. – Enjoy!
